Dr. Lim Soon Hong
(Mable Lim)
Dr. Soon Hong Lim, Co-founded Sulomas in 2014 with nearly 15 years of management experience. She has a PhD in Accounting and Finance from Monash University, two master's degrees in business and research from Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Australia, where she also taught in the business school from 2011 to 2014. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Managers and Leaders (FIML) Australia since 2018. She is hard working, intelligent, dynamic and proactive. She wants to build an inclusive team that focuses on skill training, welfare and security for Sulomas members. Her goal is to make Sulomas a world class waste management provider in the circular economy and the ESG space.
Mr. Yong Yoon Ming
Mr. Yong has been a successful entrepreneur for more than 20 years, and he is adaptable, flexible, and cooperative. He established Sulomas Sdn Bhd in 2014. His vision is to offer solutions for an eco-friendlier and more sustainable environment soon and he wants Sulomas to be a leading provider of environmental solutions. His objective is to support his organization, his staff, and most importantly, the vision he holds dear, the environment. His goal is to provide leadership and help Sulomas achieve higher levels of satisfaction in becoming a world class organization.
Mr. Yong is dedicated, inventive, and a proactive entrepreneur. He works tirelessly towards achieving excellence in his current business and will do the same for Sulomas.
Top Management Executives
Michael Uthariyam
Michael has been part of the management team at Sulomas since July 2014, with more than three decades of experience in business development, consulting and project management.
He is an expert in information technology, manufacturing, research and development. He was previously a senior manager in a large waste management company in Australia for over six years. He also advises several organizations in Malaysia and overseas. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Loyola College and is a Fellow of the Institute of Managers and Leaders (FIML).
Muhammad Iqbal Huq
Iqbal Huq is an American-trained leader with 35 years of experience in business development and strategic marketing in multinational organisations. He has worked in various industries, such as bioplastics, healthcare, oil & gas, automotive, defence and logistics.
He has successfully revived start-ups and existing businesses by achieving more than USD60 million in revenue, for example, by boosting a sluggish defence sale, and he has been involved in many joint venture transactions from due diligence to negotiation to integration of teams, technology and products.
His extensive experience and network with the Malaysian government ministries and agencies, and the top management of local and international conglomerates will be an asset for Sulomas Group to expand and grow globally.
He has admirable expertise and experience in environmental compliance both locally and in Australia, which will be useful for carrying out projects in Australia and other global networks.
Nara Subramaniam
Nara is a qualified CPA and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. He started his career with a global firm of Chartered Accountants and has since held senior management and leadership roles in various industries, such as manufacturing, mining, semiconductor, solar, property, mechanical and engineering companies. He has experience in managing different functions, such as human resources, environment safety & health, supply chain, and risk management and established compliances for ISO, SOX, SEC and EICC.
Nara has worked with some of the world's largest companies, including companies listed on NYSE and KLSE. He was the Global Commodity Director for a reputable integrated renewable energy company and most recently the CFO for a well-established M&E group of companies.
Nara has a keen interest in People, Process and Performance, helping organizations to enhance their capacity and capability and promote learning and development. He is also a Certified Coach from UMCEED and a Certified Strategic Sourcing Professional from PASIA.

Lim Soon Kheng
(Serene Lim)
Serene has a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from Monash University and a Master of Business Administration from Victoria University. She is also a Registered Malaysian Patent Agent, Trademark Agent & Industrial Design Agent.
She started her career in a prestigious legal firm in Malaysia that handles patent work, such as patent registration, prosecution, searches, drafting and infringement analysis for major local and international clients. She then worked for a European science-based company that dealt with patent work, such as patenting inventions, conducting patent searches, doing due diligence evaluation, assessing R&D inventions internally, drafting patents, prosecuting and registering them.
Before joining Sulomas as Director for Intellectual Property and Legal, she worked for a Singaporean legal firm that practised patents, trademarks and industrial designs.
Her work at Sulomas covers in areas, such as contracting, sourcing with suppliers, industrial compliance, IR 4.0 compliance and completing tender processes.
